My "tours" are relaxed, flexible, and fully personalised. Think of it less like a “tour” and more like exploring Kuala Lumpur with a knowledgeable local friend who can answer your questions (no matter how many!) Many of my guests are travellers who enjoy learning, asking questions, and exploring at a comfortable pace rather than rushing from place to place. All experiences are conducted in compliance with Malaysian tourism regulations and may be fulfilled in coordination with licensed tour operators where required. For tours that require transportation, we normally use e-hailing GRAB car (UBER) to move us around as and when required on our tour. You will pay directly for the usage. The cost of GRAB is variable depending on time of use and distance. Most guests are surprised at how affordable GRAB is in compared to their home city. However, if you prefer to have a private car, I can also assist you with it by contacting the local transport agents and you will pay for it directly. Cost depends on duration of use as well as the type of car - sedan, SUV, MPV etc.

Tony was great, our group of 4 had a great time. One of our group needed a wheelchair, and Tony handled it patiently and professionally. We got to learn so much about Kuala Lumpur. At one point we passed a Ship tour, with a long line of 50 or so people passing us, only the first few hearing the guide, and as they passed I heard many people saying how confused they were, while we knew exactly what was happening... The moral of the story is clear... the guides all know when the ship is leaving....

Tony, along with a skilled driver, guided our group through Kuala Lumpur with ease. He was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about his city. Our day began at the Batu Caves during the middle of a major Hindu festival, and despite the huge crowds, Tony navigated us safely and confidently. He explained the “faith over pain” rituals and shared insights as we climbed the 272 steps, making the experience unforgettable. We continued through the old town and later visited the KL Tower, where Tony’s enthusiasm for Kuala Lumpur really shone. His stories, context, and thoughtful guidance helped us appreciate the city on a much deeper level. By the end of the day, we felt enriched by everything we learned and experienced. Tony Khong was the very best tour guide! He made our day in Kuala Lampur super memorable! He hired a driver so he could dedicate his time and attention to our group. We visited the batu caves, Petrona towers, Istana negara, Tugu negara, the KL Tower and a local food court where he gathered foodie cuisine for us! The very best day ever!!
Tony was fantastic! He was extremely communicative, reliable, and knowledgeable. As a former high school teacher, he is gifted at thoroughly and patiently explaining everything. He is also flexible and you can easily adapt your tour to whatever you would like to do (like extra time shopping :-). Plus, he is a sweetheart with a hilarious sense of humor! After about an hour's drive from the Port, we will arrive in Kuala Lumpur. Popular highlights include: - Batu Caves. - National Palace - National Monument - National Mosque - The 2nd Tallest Tower in the World. - The Colonial Independence Square - Lunch at a Local Restaurant on OWN expense - Souvenir shopping at Arts and Crafts Central Market. - Entry UP the KL Tower to see the metropolis of KL City. (Highly Recommended. Ticket price RM110 per person) - Visit the KLCC (KL City Centre) grounds where the Petronas Twin Towers is located. - Return to Port with at least an hour to spare before your ship's departure or earlier if you wish. The above is a suggested itinerary to "capture" KL as you leisurely explore your world by cruise. We may not see all of them but the ones that matters to your interests. But if there are some other places of interest which you have read or heard about, please let me know and I will customise the tour to fit in your places of interest!

I will assist to coordinate a desired transport (which is normally an air-conditioned MPV for up to 4 guests with a separate Driver. This will cost about $180). However, if you prefer a bigger vehicle or a luxury vehicle like an Alphard or Vellfire, I will help co-ordinate the preferred vehicle and you will pay directly to the transport provider.
