Hi and welcome to beautiful Malaysia! My name is Adnan, hold a professional tour guide license from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture. I'm a local who loves the magnificent culture mix of ethnicities in our community. I love reading and travelling and getting to know more people and their interests. Fishing and swimming are my hobbies. I'm a nature lover, keen to explore its beauty and wonders. The tropical rainforests in Malaysia are so spectacular that you will be amazed when you explore them. I will definitely show you the best of Malaysia, our culture, our people and our amazing food. Looking forward to meeting you and showing you around. I'll make sure your visit to Malaysia is a memorable one! Licensed English speaking Tour Guide with badge number TG13332 My car can fit up to 5 people. See our owned elephant conservation site with magical sightseeing view during the tour, and explore our Orang Asli cultures. You can even learn how to tap the rubber trees. The centre, only one of its kind in Malaysia and located about 98 km from Kuala Lumpur, houses a number of trained elephants for the translocation of wild elephants from conflict areas throughout Peninsular Malaysia. These elephants are trained and used in translocation exercises.
Pick up from the hotel in Kuala Lumpur and take a ride for about one hour 30 minutes to the small village called Lanchang. Upon arrival, visit the Deerland Park (pay own entrance fee RM15/person). This animal petting park is an opportunity for animal lovers to get up-close and personal with deer as well as a variety of animals such as Golden Pheasant, Bengal Cat, Rabbits, Parakeets, Pyhtons and few others. Or you can choose to go direct to the elephant sanctuary to observe elephants roaming freely within the secured electric fencing area. Then, transfer to Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary/National Elephant Conservation Centre. Have lunch at local eateries. Visit the information centre. Watch a documentary showing translocation of wild elephants to their new habitat. Observe bathing and cleaning of elephants given by mahouts(elephant guides) with explanations by NECC staff. Later in the evening headed back to Kuala Lumpur.
