Miura Peninsula Day Trip from Tokyo

My name is Yuichi “Ichi” Saegusa, and I am a nationally licensed tour guide based in Tokyo, Japan. I have guided many travelers from around the world, helping them discover both the traditional and modern sides of Tokyo — from historic Asakusa and Meiji Shrine to vibrant Shibuya and hidden local neighborhoods. Before becoming a guide, I worked as a salesperson at an electronics store in Tokyo. That experience taught me how to communicate clearly with many different people and to understand what customers truly need. I bring that same spirit of service and care to my guiding work. My tours are for travelers who want to see the real life of Tokyo, not only the famous spots. I enjoy introducing guests to cultural experiences such as exploring local food, tea ceremonies, and origami art. Each tour is customized based on guests’ interests — whether it is history, architecture, technology, or food. When I am not guiding, I like exploring new cafes, attending local events, and learning more about Japanese culture and history to share new stories with my guests.
