We visit the old part of Kyoto which is situated in eastern part of Kyoto . Kiyomizu temple is Unesco world heritage site. From Kiyomizu temple you can see the view of Kyoto Higashiyama slope is famouse east mountaine district and we walk Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka where there are a lot of shops. Yasaka Pagoda is the oldest five story pagoda and the current building is from 16th century. Yasaka shrine is from 8th century and the building is from 16th century. The famous festival called Gion festival in July starts from this shrine. Gion is the famous Geisha district. Lots of old houses is remained there. Fushimi Inari shrine is famous for the ten thousand trii gate(shrine gate). The torii gate lines up till the top of mountain. If you walk up to the top and come, it takes about 2 hous.
From our meeting place we take a bus and walk up to Yasaka shrine. It takes about 10 miutes from the bus stop. After there we walk up to Kiyomizu temple for about 20 minutes. We stay there for about one hour and we walk down to Yasaka shrine through Higashiyama slope. it takes about 30 minutes. And we go to Gion. We walk in Gion area about 30 minutes and we take a train to Fushimi Inari shrine. If you would like to walk up to the top of mountain, our tour ends there.
