Hi I'm Kenji I have a national government license of tour guide interpreter in English. I was born and raised in Kyoto, an old capital of Japan over one thousand years. So I'm very familiar with many sightseeing spots and attractions of the city Kyoto is a fascinating and picturesque city drawing lots of foreign tourists every year I can show you around not only popular historical sites and relics but also its various attractions such us Zen silent meditation, traditional sweets cooking, kimono-clad walking and so on. Osaka and Nara are very popular tourist destinations among foreign travellers in my tour options. I can also provide tailored tours fitting to your liking. I like a famous Zen phrase "Ichigo Ichie" meaning "Treasure every encounter for it will never recur". So I always try to enjoy guiding every tourist with my best hospitality. Overview of your Kyoto tour
This tour offers the best collection of very popular tourist destinations in Nara, also best for first-time visitors. Nara is the ancient capital of Japan featuring many historical sites and relics in a serene atmosphere. Full of photogenic spots and beautiful natural sceneries in my tour I'm sure that you can take wonderful memorial shots. I will explain to you about our unique culture, history, religion, lifestyles, social concerns and so on. After my tour I'm sure you will understand some questions about Japan like why the Japanese believe multiple religions simultaneously, or why they often use chopsticks when eating, or why many of them are tend to be group-oriented etc. That's one of the merits of my tour in addition to explanations about each spot. We mainly use public transportation but also use a taxi as needed ex. saving time or guest's request. Nara Park: Walking in popular tourist spot of vast green area with many wild but tame deer can be fed with specific food S04. Yoshikien Garden: Walk in different types of gardens can be appreciated in one spot S05. Kofukuji Temple: Walk in large temple complex of historical Buddhist buildings including symbolic five-story pagoda and cultural treasures museum S06. Nara Town Walk: Stroll around local street lined with traditional buildings now used as nice restaurants, cafes, handicraft shops, museums etc S07. Dajoin Garden: Walk in the Pure Land style of Japanese garden S08. Isuien Garden: Walk in beautiful gardens in "strolling-around-the-pond" style
