Hi, My name is Hisahi. Since I obtained the national license as a proffesional tour guide in 2017, I have guided foreign customers mainly at Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka! By using my expertise on Japanese literature, history and ceramics I can show you deep and distinctive local things of Kansai region. Since I was a little child, visual art has been one of my great interests. Western painters were the main source for my own paintings and drawings. But it was not until I met with Japanese and Chinese classics at college that I found and understood the beauty of the Japanese art! As an earnest amateur scholar but proffesional guide, the great joy of mine lies in discovering the beauties of Japan: nature, traditions, life, and people with my customers! Most of my time has been devoted to searching for the pleasure of especially foreign-tourists and visitors as a licensed guide, and so I wil add more valued moments to your stay in Japan! Supplements: bike rider on cross country bike and road bike. book reader on mysteries. World traveler visited over 20 major cities across the world. I am very looking forward to seeing my guests from abroad here in Japan! Thank you!!! Majored in Japanese and Chinese literature at college. Went to ceramic art school for two-year to study and make traditional ceramic ware.

We will visit Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum, which is a long established sake brewery since 17 century in Fushimi of Kyoto, to learn about the Japanese rice wine by an actual testing at the brewery. There are about 20 local sake breweries in this area. After having a knowledge about sake, we go to a "izakaya", a sort of traditional Japanese pub, to enjoy wonderful combinations with its fine sakes and delicious Japanese food. You will discover how the tastes of sake have developed with Japanese food.
Meet at Kyoto Central Station or your hotel in Kyoto. Then, we move to Fushimi by train or car. It takes about 20 minutes by train. The first destination is Gekkeikan Okura Sake Museum. After we stroll the town to visit another Sake Museum. Finally, we reach a local and nostalgic izakaya that has a big variety of Japanese foods.
