Start at Demachiyanagi Station and catch the local Eizan Railway for a 30-minute scenic ride through the Kyoto mountains, offering views of charming villages and serene forests. Upon reaching Kurama Station, begin your hike up Mt. Kurama, home to over 40 temples and shrines. Visit Kurama Temple, explore the peaceful grounds, and enjoy the natural beauty of the mountain. Descend to Kifune Village, famous for the Kifune Shrine, and drink from its pure waters for blessings of safe travels, love, and fortune. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the village.
