Hello everyone, I’m Khas. Thank you for deciding to come to Kyoto! I’m a passionate local guide, and my tours are built around the hidden beauty of Kyoto, where the charm is found in small details, rather than in a plain sight, and my job is to help you see them clearly and experience Kyoto to its fullest. But it doesn’t stop there - throughout many years in Japan, I have developed a big interest in all sorts of Japanese foods and help people experience the beauty in Japanese cuisine, finding the best spots for foods such as Okonomiyaki, Gyoza, Katsudon, Seafood and so many others. Every tour is flexible, I adjust the pace to the group, and go deeper or lighter depending on your curiosity and energy. No scripts and no rushing to help you make the most out of your time here in Japan. It is challenging to enjoy and be present while simultaneously capturing the moment in hopes of living it afterwards. That is why we decided to help out fellow travelers with our custom special tour. This is not just a walking tour, it’s a premium private experience where you explore Kyoto’s most iconic locations while we professionally capture your journey through both photography and cinematic video. You’ll be guided by me, a dedicated local guide, while my partner works alongside us as your personal photographer and videographer, ensuring natural, high-quality moments throughout the experience. Perfect for couples, solo travelers, families, or special occasions. By the end of the tour, you won’t just have memories, you’ll have a visual story of your Kyoto experience.
Your Kyoto tour itinerary
1. Start – Central Kyoto Pickup (Hotel/AirBnB). We begin in the Fushimi Inari Shrine, scenic area to ease into the experience with natural shots and a relaxed introduction. 2. Higashiyama District Walk Wander through traditional streets filled with wooden houses, quiet alleys, and authentic Kyoto atmosphere, perfect for candid photography and cinematic footage. 3. Hōkan-ji Temple (Yasaka Pagoda) One of Kyoto’s most iconic photo spots. We’ll capture stunning angles with the pagoda rising above historic streets. 4. Kiyomizu-dera Enjoy panoramic views and explore the temple grounds while we capture both wide cinematic shots and personal moments. 5. Yasaka Shrine & Gion Area End the tour in Kyoto’s famous geisha district, blending culture, atmosphere, and elegant final shots.
