Greetings! I'm Milo, and I became a tour guide because I’ve always loved sharing stories and discovering new places. Growing up, I was fascinated by history, culture, and the little details that bring a destination to life. After traveling extensively, I realized that guiding others through these experiences would be a rewarding way to connect people with the world around them. As a tour guide, I’ve had the pleasure of leading more than 500 tours, helping guests discover the beauty, culture, and everyday life of Japan through memorable, personalized experiences. I enjoy making each tour unique and fun, blending facts with personal stories to create memorable journeys. For me, being a guide isn’t just a job, it’s a way to inspire curiosity and build lasting connections between people and the places they visit. I reside in Kansai, central Japan, Kyoto city. An area rich in history and culture, which offers an unforgettable journey through Japan’s traditional heart. From stunning temples and serene gardens to lively markets and charming tea houses, every corner of Kyoto tells a story waiting to be discovered. Whether you’re drawn to ancient shrines, world-class cuisine, or vibrant festivals, I will make sure to include highlights and some of the best experiences this city has to offer. Let’s share the joy of exploring this beautiful country together. I look forward to showing you the charm, history, and hidden corners that make Japan so special. Thank you, and I can’t wait to welcome you here in Japan! What makes exploring Kyoto and places around it even more special is the possibility to tailor your tour to your interests. My tours can be fully customized to suit your preferences, whether you want a deep dive into cultural heritage, a food-focused adventure, or a relaxing day exploring hidden gems off the beaten path. Let me help you create the perfect itinerary for an authentic and personalized Kyoto experience. I offer private guided tours in Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka, sharing the history, culture, and hidden beauty of Japan’s most fascinating cities. Whether you’re drawn to Kyoto’s serene temples, Nara’s ancient shrines and friendly deer, or Osaka’s lively streets and street food, I’ll help you experience each place in a meaningful and memorable way. P.S. All of my tours can be fully customized to match your interests, pace, and preferences — just let me know what you’d like to experience!

Join me on a 4-hour journey through the sacred mountains of northern Kyoto — a trail where nature, legend, and spiritual energy intertwine. We’ll begin in the peaceful riverside village of Kibune, following a scenic forest path shaded by ancient cedar trees and nourished by crystal-clear mountain streams. As we ascend toward Kurama, I’ll share stories of samurai who once trained in these woods, the mysterious tengu spirits said to guard the peaks, and the origins of Reiki energy healing, which was born here on Mount Kurama. At the summit and beyond, you’ll feel the quiet power of Kurama Buddhism, a blend of nature worship and spiritual balance that still shapes this region’s soul. This private hike offers not just a walk through nature, but a deep connection with the living spirit of Kyoto’s mountains.
