This tour takes you to the two areas, Fushimi and Uji. Both are away from central Kyoto and have the specific atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable away from hustle & bustle. In the past, Fushimi area was a large port town which faced a large lake which does not exist any more. Now you can enjoy riding the classical boat which makes you feel two hundreds years ago through the canal. Also you will enjoy visiting classical Sake brewery museum where you might slip back to the good old days when the Sake brewery was in operation. There, you will know the secret how to make nicest Sake. Uji area has Byodouin temple and Ujigami shrine which were designated as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites. In front of Byodoin temple, you enjoy walking the front street, Omotesando, with the aroma of green tea which is the local specialty. Also the area was the stage of ancient novel, "Tale of Genji", so you may feel the air of tranquility a thousand years ago. This tour is only for the visitors who stay in Kyoto.
- Ride the classic boat through the old canal in Fushimi (When the boat riding is fully booked, it might be replaced to another attraction. In this case, I will talk with you in advance) - Visit Ohkura Sake Brewery museum to learn and taste Sake - Lunch (Japanese specialty if you like) - Visit Byoudouin temple and walk through Omotesandou street in Uji - Visit Ujigami shrine and walk through Nakanoshima area to enjoy the scenery
