Hi, My name is Hisahi. Since I obtained the national license as a proffesional tour guide in 2017, I have guided foreign customers mainly at Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka! By using my expertise on Japanese literature, history and ceramics I can show you deep and distinctive local things of Kansai region. Since I was a little child, visual art has been one of my great interests. Western painters were the main source for my own paintings and drawings. But it was not until I met with Japanese and Chinese classics at college that I found and understood the beauty of the Japanese art! Overview of your Kyoto tour
After less than one-hour trip by train or car from Kyoto, the air of the First Capital is different from the second one! Seemingly, the time here gose by slower than the colorful streets in Kyoto. Some of about 1, 200 tame deer at Nara Park greet you with bowing before you many times! No wonder, Nara has the largest collection of National treasures in Japan at its temples and museums because of not suffered air raids during the War. Not only the World Heritage: the magnificent Statue of Great Buddha would we visit, but we have a relaxing time at beautiful Japanese gardens and a quiet private residence of its previous vice-priests of Kohfukuji temple of the Fujiwara family. If you like to savor refined and polished high-quality sake, we could stop by a local sake brewery , and have a tasting of 5 different kinds for 500jpy with a presented small glass.
