Arashiyama Bamboo Grove to Takao One-day Hiking

On this tour we will first visit Arashiyama area, one of the Kyoto's most famous tourist destinations, and Takao area which is famous for Jingoji temple and the World Heritage temple, Kosan-ji. After walking through the Arashiyama Tenryuji Temple and its Bamboo Grove, We will walk on a trekking route along the beautiful mountain stream called "Kin-un-kei" Gorge. Here, away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist resort Arashiyama, you will find a beautiful valley that is like a different world. Let yourself be immersed in the charping of the birds beside a clear stream of water. After the hike, the final highlight, a World Heritage temple, Kosanji awaits. When we get back downtown, let's toast with some local beer to celebrate the completion of the hiking.

(model itinerary) * In case of rain or bad weather, we will skip a part of hiking route, and visit some highlights in Arashiyama and/or Takao. 9:00 Pick you up at your hotel in Kyoto City area 9:40 Arasiyama area We walk around Tenryuji Zen garden, one of the world heritage sites.
