Hello, I’m JUN, a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter and Registered Japanese Teacher. As your guide, I can show you around Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Kobe, and nearby areas. I spent about 45 years as a businessman in the iron and steel industry, holding roles such as personnel and general affairs manager, and company director. Outside of work, I’ve always had a strong interest in English, Japanese culture, and cross-cultural exchange. With my current qualifications, I’ve recently begun a new chapter beyond the business world. I enjoy visiting “Izakaya” (Japanese-style pubs), which are icons of Japanese culture—I’ve been to over 3,000 in the past 15 years. I also love Sake, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. I’d be happy to guide you to charming and delicious spots!
