Highlights in Mt Fuji

Chinami shared her deep rooted knowledge of Yamanashi and Shizuoka. She is a licensed guide and her years of experience surely made our day pleasant, convenient and enlightening. We learned so much about the geology of Fuji San, its impact on the five lakes, the cultural respect for its dirties going back centuries and still practiced today. We highly recommend her tour. You will see and learn more in one day with her than you could traversing the area on your own for months. Of course having her own car to transport us to the highlights of the area saved us so much time — meaning we could see and accomplish more than we would using the limited public transportation in the area. This tour was truly a highlight of our Japan trip! We were lucky enough to have a private tour with Chinami-san & she went above & beyond to make sure we had a memorable day. Not only did we have the advantage of Chinami picking us up & driving us around all day, she is local to the area & extremely knowledgeable with lots of interesting tidbits & information to share. It was wonderful learning from her & chatting with her throughout the day. We saw so many things but the pacing was perfect & we managed to squeeze in just the right amount of sites without feeling rushed. The train from Mt. Fuji was also super easy to use & we enjoyed a full day while still managing to get back to Tokyo at a reasonable hour. Chinami also took us to a delicious lunch of hoto noodles (a local specialty) and we stopped for ice cream & lots of great photo ops. If you're looking for the ideal overview of Mt. Fuji & the surrounding area, this is your tour! Oh, and Chinami has lots of other tour options as well--we're already hoping to be back so we can book with her again!

Chinami was a great guide for the 2 days we spent in the Mt. Fuji area. Communication prior to the tour was excellent as she made suggestions on transportation options and lodging options. We were able to cover the highlights and prioritize the activities we were interested in. I highly recommend Chinami as a guide as she was very efficient and knowledgeable.

Despite the poor weather, Chinami provided us with an excellent tour of the Mt.Fuji area! She shared her deep understanding of the historical and cultural aspects of each site we visited, and was very flexible in suggesting and offering activities which were both interesting and fun. We had a wonderful time on our private Mount Fuji highlights tour. The memories will last forever. Our tour guide Cindy was very accomodating, super helpful, and very knowledgeable in history and the areas we went to. She is good in following up on messages and making sure we arrived safely in our final destination. If there's a rate of 10 stars, we would give it.
