Ciao! My name is Claudia, I'm a certified guide in Tuscany. I live in Lucca with my family: my husband and my 3 children. This job came by chance 10 years ago when I was unemployed. In that period my eldest daughter had finished university, majoring in tourism, and together we were looking for a possible outlet for that degree. I began to read about this wonderful job devoted to art and history, my passions. My daughter didn't like this idea and since I insisted, in the end a little annoyed she replied: "But why don't you do it?" Yeah! Why not? And so, for those strange twists of life, I found myself taking a Tour Guide course. A choice that led me to do my heartfelt job! Besides that, I love reading and cooking. The best things come to me when I open the fridge and take out all the leftovers... imagination at the service of taste! So my tours are a mix of my different interests and I really enjoy being with people, sharing emotions and telling stories: history is not just a sequence of events but many small stories connected to each other with passion and love. In the last months I developed some nice bike tours in the countryside of Lucca, we use the e-bike so we can take advantage of the ease of pedalling to take slightly longer routes. Take a look to the beautiful Villas of Lucca and come with me to visit them, far from the busy center and sorrounded by nature.

Overview of your Lucca tour

The charming town of Pietrasanta is a pearl in the province of Lucca, close to the sea and at the bottom of the majestic chain of the Apuan Alps. Michelangelo spent some time here to select the finest-quality marble. Visiting Pietrasanta is like to jump in the past with the workshops of the artists that still today work the precious stone. Together we'll see the main square with the church and monuments and we'll climb the medieval walls of the town to admire the view from the top. But the beauty of this town goes beyond these monuments, we can simply walk in the streets and admire the works of art of great artists... Pietrasanta is an open air museum!
