Welcome! I am Zohar, a fully licensed tour guide with a deep passion for sharing the layers of history, culture, and the unique culinary flavors of Israel. After a successful career in Israel’s high-tech sector as a software engineer, I decided to turn my analytical mind toward my true passion: uncovering the fascinating stories of my home. I bring the same precision and depth of research from my tech days to every tour I lead. Whether we are walking through the ancient stone alleys of Jaffa or exploring the modernist Bauhaus architecture of Tel Aviv, my goal is to make history feel alive. Travelers often tell me they appreciate my storytelling style—I don't just give you dates and facts; I share the human stories behind the landmarks. From the Byzantine era to the modern creation of Israel, I love tailoring each journey to your interests, whether you are a history buff, a foodie, or an avid photographer looking for the perfect shot. Let’s create an unforgettable experience together! I was born in Israel (Tzabar) and can enhance the tour with my unique experiences and adventures from my service in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). As a major in Paratroops units for over thirty years, I participated in five wars, beginning with the battles at the Suez Canal in 1970 and culminating in the First Lebanon War and the Intifada. My moto is- tour, experience and enjoy with a smile. MSc Industrial Engineering Technion Israeli institute of Technology (1981) Licensed Tour Guide - Ministry of Tourism

The tour to Caesarea will take us to the roman empire. We would test the extraordinary acoustic at the Roman Theatre, where I enjoyed the 9th of Mahler with 1000 singer choir. We will compete in the Hippodrome, enjoy the gentle sea breeze watching Great Harrod in his fresh water swimming pool, where did the fresh water come from?? Then we will go to the harbor which, in his time, used state of art technology to build the pier. Then we will jump 2 thousand years to the first Zionist settlement during modern era Zichron Yaakov. While walking on the Hameyasdim (founders) pavement, we will hear stories of despair and faith during the first years (1882). We will visit the Auronson house (now museum) and admire Sara courage (committed suicide, why ??) and the special relations with Rothschild (the "known generous"), and his stuff. The end of the tour pleasant walk with panoramic view of the coast in Ramat Hanadiv gardens, the place Rothchild said -"that the place to be buried".

We had an excellent day exploring the area between Tel Aviv and Haifa. Zohar was knowledgeable about EVERYTHING we saw along the way. He could discuss the events occurring throughout many layers of history from ancient times, Byzantine era, Middle Ages and up to the modern era and the creation of Israel. It was obvious that he loved showing me his country.
We were very fortunate to have Zohar as our guide! Last minute request to tour Caesarea with a driver for 11 people. Zohar did a great job. He took into account our needs and interests, showing us places we never would have visited or known about. Also, he had creative ideas like bringing us all a clipping from a persimmon flower accompanied by a lovely explanation of its background. He took us to the only fishing village in Israel (who knew??) and arranged for a private homemade Arab lunch. Fabulous!
