Full Day Jerusalem Jesus Tour from Tel Aviv

I think I will never tire of taking tourist and pilgrims to this most emotional and profound Jerusalem tour in the footsteps of Jesus. We will follow his route of Palm Sunday, as he majestically entered Jerusalem, and the heartbreaking route he took a week later as he carried his cross to be crucified on the Hill of Calvary. Today, this path trails inside the holy city into the church of the Holy Sepulchre. This is right for the Catholics and Orthodox. An alternative route could be arranged for evangelicals, ending up at the Garden tomb. I will take you to various little chapels, tunnels and underground cisterns along the route, also stopping for street food and coffee in the bazaar. Follow me into my secret gems inside the mysterious alleys of the Old City of Jerusalem. It is an intoxicating voyage: the history, the religious fervor of all religions, the fragrance of the spices, fresh-ground coffee beans, incense and cooking will make you fall in love with this city.

• The tour will part from your hotel in Tel Aviv to an hour's ride to Jerusalem. (see transportation) • We will start at Jaffa Gate, drive around the walls to the Mount of Olives. • From the top of the Mount of Olives, we will follow Jesus' route on Palm Sunday. • Gethsemane and the tomb of Mary, the Mother of Jesus. • Enter the old city through the Lions' Gate. • Church of Saint Anne • Way of the Cross "The Way of Sorrows" This is, according to Catholic tradition, route along which Jesus carried his cross, from his judgment to the place of his crucifixion, Calvary, which is today in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. • We will see various surprises and hidden gems along the route, also stop for street food or lunch. • After the tour of the Holy Sepulcher, you can walk around the picturesque bazaar of the old city and buy little surprises. • (Optional) End the tour at the Western Wall. • Return to Tel Aviv.
