In this tour, you will be heading to the southeast part of Israel passing through the Judean desert and passing through the Good Samaritan inn. We will continue our desire for this iconic natural masterpiece, the dead sea. on our way time to observe the oldest city in the world, the city of Jericho. If you are a Christian believer you might be interested in a stop at the baptismal site of Kaser el Yahud by the Jordan river. our tour continues to Masada fortress taking the funicular to climb this more than 2000-year-old fortress. The tour to the fortress is an option to visit remarkable structures, Roman baths and famous Jewish heroism famous story. From Masada, We will pass by eEin Gedi oasis and Qumran national reserve where the Dead Sea scrolls were found. The rest of the day you will have time for relaxation floating at the Dead Sea just before heading back to your departure point.
Our day starts with a warm welcome on my part upon meeting you at the departure point. Whether you are just coming from your ship or had an overnight in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, all those sites can be an option for pickup. Our tour will start by crossing the city of Jerusalem and descending through the Judea Desert towards the Dead Sea. After a photo stop at sea level point, and as per your demands, we can visit Kasar El Yahud the batsimal site by the shore of the Jordan river. We will continue to visit Masada fortress and our day finalizes with free time by the shores of the Dead Sea. On route and depending on your interest we can offer camel rides, visit the main factory of Dead Sea products and get time to taste the delicious dates produced in this area.
