Jerusalem is important for Islam. In this tour the preferred sites I choose, are related mainly to Islamic believe. In this tour we will explore the past and understand the life of Jerusalem. We will visit the following exiting places: Mount Scopus, the Mount of Olives, Temple Mount, the Old City of Jerusalem, the Muslim Quarter, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and the locaivel authentic Bazaar. After these, we will drive to visit Nabi Musa Mosque in the Judean Desert.
About 1. 5 hours drive from Tel Aviv. Panoramic view from Mount Scopus over the Judea Desert, the smallest desert in the world. The Mount of Olives, the history of Jerusalem from the perspective of the three monotheistic religions. In the Mount of Olives there are the Ascension Mosque, and Rabi'ah al-Adawiyah Mosque (if open). The Old City of Jerusalem, walking of about 3 hours: - Temple Mount - Visit the Dome of the Rock, and Al-Aksa Mosque, the third holy Islamic place in the world. - The Muslim Quarter - Mamluk architecture in the Chain Street. - We will have lunch in an authentic restaurant in the Old City. - The Christian Quarter - The Church of the Holy Sepulcher, tomb of Nabi Issa. - The local Bazaar. After Jerusalem, we will drive to the Judean Desert, to visit the Mosque of Nabi Musa. This tour can be customized to fit your preferences.
