Afterwards continue to Merdeka square, and short walk to see the National Monument and president palace. Next you'll explore Chinatown, stop at the oldest temple and enjoy walking tour at the traditional market and next to the the north part of Jakarta with the main gate of Jakarta, Sunda Kelapa Harbour, and also Batavia Old City (Old town).

If you really want to get to know Jakarta, this is the tour! It was made especially amazing due to having such an incredible and knowledgeable tour guide, Ratih. She made sure to give us history to all the sites, gave us plenty of time to walk around and made sure if we were making purchases that we got the best deals. This was built to commemorate the struggle for Indonesian independence. - Istiqlal Mosque and Katedral Church: This Mosque is the largest in Southeast Asia and the national mosque of Indonesia. In front of the mosque is an old catholic church build by Dutch with a neo-gothic style called the Katedral church. These two buildings symbolize the unity of diversity. - Batavia Old Town and China Town: This is the remainder of old Batavia, in the old town there's the remainder of the colonial time. The area of China Town also known as Pecinan since Dutch colonial era and its considered the biggest in Indonesia. - Sunda Kelapa Harbour: The harbour that populous as main gate of Jakarta.
