Jakarta 'Little Amsterdam' - Full Day Tour

Dwi gave us a wonderful tour of Jakarta and old Batavia. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia. We especially appreciated the little additions to the tour such as seeing Barack Obama's infant school. Whilst we were inside the mosque, there was a sudden downpour of rain and Dwi returned to the car to bring plastic macs for us to wear. Dwi was very knowledgeable and friendly and answered all of our questions. We would highly recommend Dwi as a tour guide to any tourist visiting Jakarta.

Dwi gave us a great personalized tour of Jakarta, including a fascinating visit to a puppeteer's studio, where we learned about the making of the Indonesian shadow and wooden puppets....in all, a very enjoyable day! Lorna H

I did the Little Amsterdam tour with Dwi, he was very friendly and professional, and also very flexible as I had to change the return time. He managed to show me everything I wanted to see in the smaller time frame. It was a very pleasant day and a great way to discover some of Jakarta. Dwi is an amazing guide. Turns out that many of the museums, etc. were closed for the Chinese New Year. But Dwi found other, most interesting things for us to do. I wanted to go to the puppet museum, which was closed. Dwi contacted the puppet master and through back alleys and hidden lanes, we arrived at his workshop. What an amazing experience. He knows good places for a reviving ice coffee and wonderful sights. His command of the English language was superb. And, he was able to modify for seniors.
