Hello, My name is Carine and I'm a tour guide both for the city of Strasbourg and for other towns and villages around it. The Alsace region is beautiful and full of history. I'm passionate about travel myself. Every year, I choose a new destination and spend a month discovering a new country. I've also lived in other foreign countries such as Spain, England and Germany. It's thanks to this passion that I became a tour guide. I'm originally from the south of France and have been living in Strasbourg for 14 years. I have two Franco-German children. They have dual nationality and speak both languages fluently. My wish was for them to grow up in both cultures. I had heard about Strasbourg, came to visit the city and immediately fell in love with the place. For me, after Paris, it's the most beautiful city in France. The architecture is simply incredible. Visiting a city you don't know is not always easy, especially if you don't speak the local language. During my visits, I offer what I myself look for on my travels: - discover the must-sees - learn about the culture and traditions of the locals, - ear the most interesting stories, - discover places I'd never have known about if I hadn't taken a guide, - be amazed, - create absolutely fantastic memories. I offer different tours: - Food & Drink: visits to wine regions such as Obernai, Mittelbergheim, Riquewihr and Colmar, - Strasbourg highlights tour, - historical tours, such as a private full-day trip from Colmar to Alsace, including a visit to Haut Koenigsbourg castle and hidden villages along the Alsace wine route. Of course, I can adapt to all your wishes, because it's your vacation, and the most important thing for me is that you leave with wonderful memories.

I'm sure you'll fall in love with this beautiful city as much as I did. The architecture is just fabulous and every street is full of history. For me, it's the most extraordinary city in France. I'll never get tired of strolling through its narrow streets, which are like a little fairy tale. I'll show you some of Strasbourg's most emblematic monuments. Petite-France, the most romantic district in the city. Built around the 16th century, it is famous for its beautiful half-timbered houses and canals. It is sometimes compared to a small Venice. We'll also see the city's earliest fortifications, dating from the XIIIth century, and the famous Vauban dam, built in the XVIIth century. Next, let's admire the cathedral of Strasbourg, the jewel of the city! When I saw the cathedral for the first time, I was shocked. I hadn't expected such splendor. Its construction is unique in the world. It also houses an astronomical clock, a Renaissance masterpiece that was once considered one of the seven wonders of Germany.

We spent a wonderful afternoon with Carine in Strasbourg. Honestly, she was almost as entertaining as the city. Great personality and enthusiasm matched with years of local experience and depth of knowledge. A hard to beat combination. Altogether a delight.
Carine gave us a great morning in Strasbourg! And with all her tips, we experienced some magical places in the city thereafter. Her kindness, her humor and her professionalism made for an excellent tour.
Carine is a fantastic guide. She is passionate about her city and her passion is demonstrated consistently though out the tour. She showed us several places off the beaten path such as the wince cellar under the hospital that was only mentioned on the tours offered by our ship. I would confidently hire Carine again on a future tour if we find ourselves in the region again.
I had a wonderful 3 hour tour. Carine was very knowledgeable and tailored the tour to match my interests. In addition, she was just delightful to converse with about a wide array of subjects. It was like walking around Strasbourg with an old friend who was well versed in the city's history, culture and current affairs. Would not hesitate to recommend Carine to my friends, and if I ever return to Strasbourg would most certainly hire her again.
Carine was a wonderful guide. She has great energy, great knowledge, and is very personable. She customized our tour - adding extra time at the cathedral, a side trip to the historic hospital wine caves, and even a mini food tour dropping into a few foodie shops. We would highly recommend her to anyone coming to Strasbourg!
