Reims is not a cathedral like any other : this is where all Kings of France were crowned and its martyrdom during the 1st world war made it THE national cathedral. Did you know that it is the religious building with the highest number of sculpted figures in France ? That Carnegie, Rockefeller, Eisenhower and Chagall have left their mark on our city ? Discover all this and more during my guided tour of the city including Notre Dame of Reims, Basilica Saint Remi and a city center where Art Nouveau is at almost every corner. Your Reims tour itinerary
Order of visits may vary according to our meeting point. If your hotel is in Reims, we can start the tour at 9 am, and a bit later if you are based in Paris. Reims is not a big city, and this is a walking tour. I will take you through the history of the town and a guided tour of the Cathedral. After lunch in the center of Reims (I remain at your disposal for recommendations, note that some restaurants need to be booked a few days in advance), we will make our way to the Basilica Saint Remi, less famous but always a wonderful surprise for visitors. NB : my calendar shows that I am available only at weekends but if booked in advance I can make myself available most of the time (note that museum is closed on Tuesdays). * This tour can be customized upon request.
