2 days tour in Champagne - visits and tastings

This tour was the best decision we made all trip. I can't imagine doing the Champagne region without a local guide. Everything was tailor to our needs. Communication was great beforehand and the guide easily made adjustments as we needed throughout the two days. Lunches were arranged and delicious and we learned so much about the houses, the wine making and the area. We got to see a mix of big and small houses and of course taste so much delicious Champagne. They make it so easy if you want to buy bottles and ship them home too. I will definitely be returning to do it again!

We spent 2 excellent days with Stephane in January 2026. I vividly recommend him as a fantastic and knowledgeable guide who will familiarize you with intriguing world of champagne. You may expect detailed coverage of the history, production, family stories of various iconic houses. But the most exciting thing is that Stephane teaches you to understand the taste of different grapes and vintages. It was cool to have both visits to Champagne houses of world renown (we specifically recommend Pommery for the family story and caves full of contemporary art) and visits to small vineries on our itinerary of 2 days. We enjoyed very much spending these 2 days with Stephane and already looking forward to returning to Champagne!

I had been waiting for 20+ years to visit Champagne and this tour exceeded ALL my expectations. Having Lisa as our tour guide was amazing. She had a native's perspective on the region and industry. She knew so many people personally and told great stories, having worked at those same facilities in the past. Her knowledge base, friendliness and overall vibe really made us feel like we were travelling with a friend. It was very special to see where members of her family had worked in the region, even where her grandfather had helped lay bricks in one of the caves. I don't think we could have had a better experience. I highly recommend her and this tour.

The Champaign tour we had with Stephen was one of the best we had, and we had a lot. Stephen is a knowledgeable and experienced guide in the complicated world of the Champaign production. He is a passionate connoisseur of this festive drink. At every step of the way he gave us details of the background and history of famous Champaign houses and small producers.
