Reims, Hautvillers, Boursault and Epernay
Overview of your Reims tour
Our exploration will start in Reims, with the celebrated Gothic cathedral where all kings of France were crowned. We will then drive through the countryside towards Hautvillers, (30 mn drive). Hautvillers is the most picturesque village of our region, home to Dom Perignon, and with great views over the vineyards. We will then head to the elegant Chateau of Boursault, where you will be able to taste their cuvée and visit the estate with its fairytale castle. Boursault is the only chateau in the region. Next on the list is Epernay, the second capital of the Champagne region, 15 mn drive from Boursault. After lunch in Boursault or Epernay, (lunch is not included in the total price, but I will make recommendations & bookings closer to the date), you will explore the avenue of Champagne. We will make our way back to Reims at appr. 3:00 pm, and will visit the cellars of the most impressive champagne cellars in the region, Pommery-Vranken. (tasting at the end of tour). End of tour at appr. 5:30 pm.

Meet at your hotel or train station in Reims at approximately 9:00 am, visit Reims cathedral Drive to Hautvillers, then Chateau de Boursault (tasting included) Free time for lunch in the village of Boursault or the town of Epernay Visit Epernay and free time in Epernay Departure from Epernay at approximately 3 pm and drive back to Reims - Visit Champagne house Pommery-Vranken (guided tour of cellars and tasting included) End of tour at appr. 5:30 pm
