This half day will be spent on the magnificent and panoramic wine road of Alsace. But, before reaching that splendid hamlet, you will enjoy a full historical walking tour in Colmar, discovering the city's colourful past and present. You will stroll through the most magnificent historic section of the city & will be able to ask any question you might have. You will enjoy the commentaries and local input: enjoying the past and most recent historical events, passing through the most tiny and forgotten sections of the town, having the unique opportunity to get to know Colmar as a local, our local alsatians' culture and traditions. After this exclusive overview, you'll be driven to the centuries-old village of Eguisheim, classified one of the most beautiful villages of France. You will experiment the unique opportunity to appreciate it at your own pace. After some orientation, you will have plenty of time to walk on your own; you will definitely fall in love for this magnificent part of our heritage.
Your Colmar tour itinerary
• Visit of the "Little Venice area", the "collégiale section" up to "the heads house" (1, 5 Hour). • Discovery of the sometimes complex aspects of the Alsatian history in relation with our German neighbor, in a personalized, professional and friendly manner. • Drive to the tiny hamlet of Eguisheim. Photo stop on the panoramic wine road & in the middle of the vineyard itself. • After some orientation, visit of Eguisheim on your own. Plenty of free time to explore this spectacular medieval village & to get some incomparable memories! (1, 5Hour) Good to know: • Be aware that in the eventuality where your hotel would be a little bit further away from the historic section of the town, I will come to pick you up by minivan (without any extra charges), in order to start the walking tour. • Please do not hesitate to contact me for any half day or full day customized program. I will stay at your entire disposal for organizing any tours on the wine road and get you to know the area as a local!
