With 15 years of experience as a tour leader all over Europ with different tour companies specialized in educational and cultural tours, I have decided a few years ago to show the best kept secrets of the area where I did grow up. I am proud to propose the best daily tours from the "3 borders area", concentrated in the region, including the Alsace, the Black forest, and up to the Swiss Alps. Passionate about history, culture, wine, gastronomy and people, I remain constantly curious and enthusiastic, my aim is to make the tour a unique moment, an informative and unforgettable experience for every traveller. I am someone fun to be with but in the same time I stay always focused on the job. I love to share my knowledge and experience, I am someone flexible, dedicated and enthusiast in absolutely every type of situation. I believe I understand the need of each participant while they are far away from home, and I would love to welcome you in my comfortable and modern minivan off the beaten track, in order to provide you the most beautiful memories of the area. I am looking forward to meet you for the most beautiful adventure, and I will stay at your entire disposal to show you the best! Jean-Yves Deug culture & Communication (Degree of History & Literature - La Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris III). Professional French Driving Licence. Today will be spent on the magnificent and panoramic wine road of Alsace. In the morning, you will visit the Haut Koenigsbourg Castle on your own. Then you will be driven to the beautiful medieval town of Riquewihr which did inspire Disney for his film "the beauty and the beast" and Kaysersberg, elected the most beloved French village in 2017. We will go straight to the interesting spots, directly in the historical part of those lovely towns, after some guidance, you will have plenty of time to appreciate those fairy tales spots at your own pace. In between those "must see places", I will drive you through the most local and less known hamlets, isolated in the middle of the vineyard. You will enjoy the commentaries and local input, stopping in the most tiny and forgotten localities.
• Discovery of the Haut Koenigsbourg Castle. • Scenic wine road of Alsace and the vineyards • After some orientation, visit Riquewihr and Kaysersberg at your own pace. • Appreciate a large stop at the WWII memorial of Sigolsheim, localized at the top of the "bleeding hill", built in memory of the sacrifices of the American soldiers during the WWII fights of the winter 1944-1945. • Let yourself be surprised: the idea today is to explore and take plenty of time in all the "must see" places , but also to discover all the magnificent & forgotten villages : we choose to go where the others don't go!
