Since I was a child I was merged in the history as my grandfather was during the Second World War part of the French resistance and helped Allied pilots who crashed with their airplane to escape France by Spain. After the war my grandfather will receive a personal letter from General Dwight Eisenhower thanks him for his action. My knowledge in the First and Second World Wars were recognized by the US Army where I was in charge to organize Staff Rides and ceremonies for them. I am also a local historian consultant and participated in several TV documentaries and my name is also mentioned in several books by other historians. Local Historian and Staff Rides Officer in French Army

Overview of your Amiens tour

The Battle of Saint Quentin Canal on the Hindenburg Line began on the 29th of September, 1918 until the end of October and involved Australian, British and two American Divisions in the spearhead attack and as a single combined force against the Hindenburg Line. Under the command of Australian General Sir John Monash the assault achieved all its objectives, resulting in the first full breach of the Hindenburg Line, in the face of heavy German resistance and, in concert with other attacks of the "Great Offensive" along the length of the line. On October 1, 1918, Ludendorff decided that a truce must be offered and the war must be stopped, the Hindenburg line fell, and the war would be over in six weeks. One great war was over, the terrifying consequences remain, let's evoke these days once again On this tour I will share with you the life of the soldiers in a trench with some private stories and you will walk on the footsteps of these men to give you the feelings of what they have experienced and suffered.
