Battle of Vimy Ridge, The Somme: Canada in the Great War

The Battle of Vimy Ridge from the 9th to the 12th of April, 1917 marks the most important victory of the Canadian Forces. At the cost of several thousand deaths, they managed to take control of Hill 145 on the 12th of April, 1917. Let's visit the battlefield, its aerial trenches but also underground as well as its interpretive centre. The visit will continue on the Somme sector and especially on the Newfoundland Memorial Park in Beaumont Hamel, emblematic place where on the 1st of July, 1916, its soldiers where engaged in the battle with visit of the trenches and the visitors center.
