Despite the fact that the original Jewish Ghetto of Prague was nearly completely destroyed at the beginning of 20th century, the remaining Synagogues belong to the top ten list of sights to see while in Prague. The Jewish museum of Prague holds its exhibition of countless and unique items in the former Synagogues, which are used primarily as exhibition grounds. There you will learn history as well as the customs and traditions of Jewish people in the area of today's Czech Republic and Prague. Part of our tour is the visit of Old Jewish cemetery, where we will walk past the thumb of Rabbi Löw (known also as Jehuda Liva ben Becalel) and the memorial of the victims of the Holocaust in Pinkas Synagogue, where is also located the famous exhibition of children's drawings. We will also visit the oldest still serving Synagogue in Central Europe - The Old New Synagogue. After this tour many of the loose ends get tied up. This will be a walking tour covering very small area.
During this private walking tour of the former Jewish part we will visit *The Old Jewish cemetery and Jewish Museum which is located in the following Synagogues: *Maisel Synagogue, *Pinkas Synagogue and *Spanish Synagogue. . included in the entrace fee is also the famous Old New Synagogue
