How to discover best any city? With a local guide! This way you do not lose your precious time because the local person takes you to all the important places, you see the highlights but also the hidden places, corners, and passages. I was born in Prague, I know it perfectly. Despite all my travels, I love this city most of all, it is my favorite city. I am a professional guide of Prague and the Czech Republic since 1992, I have a lot of experience with guiding and organizing tours and stays in our country. Several times a year I guide tours over different cities located in Central Europe (Berlin, Dresden, Vienna, Cracow, Budapest, Munich…. ). We can even go there together if you want to do a several day tour in the region . I like history, architecture, arts, literature, languages, and people of different cultures. All my tours are strictly private as it is the best way how to show Prague to each customer. I do not like to run and rush, there is plenty of time to see everything. As I lived in the Czech Republic during the Communist time, be free to ask as many questions as possible about what was the totalitarian regime like between the WWII and the Velvet Revolution in 1989. Sure, you can read about it in books, but explanation and commentary of a person who lived through that is the best way how to understand this sad chapter of the 20th century. I am looking forward to meeting you in Prague soon. Now it is the best time…. you know, everything is going to change and maybe in a couple of years the city will be very modern, having contemporary building without any historical value. So, don't hesitate anymore. Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, who knows how long it will remain like this. Licenses: Prague, Prague Castle, Jewish quarter, guide since 1992

It was an amazing tour!! Eva was fabulous! She is so knowledgeable!!
Eva D. guided us through Prague's long Jewish history, sharing her knowledge and insights. Visiting synagogues, both active and inactive, emphasized the richness and tragedy of that history. Our time with Eva was meaningful and memorable.
Excellent tour!!! Highly recommend it!!!
Eva is an extraordinarily knowledgeable guide with information and side stories. She is thorough and thoughtful
Eva led us through an extremely detailed tour of the significant complex of historical Jewish monuments. She explained the history of the Jewish Ghetto which began in the 13th century. Eva provided detailed design and architectural descriptions of each of the 6 synagogues. The tour was enhanced with Eva's descriptions of sacred Jewish artifacts and wall scriptures. She related tales of significant historic community leaders and of the most prominent graves in the Old Cemetery.
We really enjoyed our Prague Jewish Quarter tour with Eva. She shared a tremendous amount of knowledge on the history and we learned so much as she guided us through the various sights.
We meet at the Cartier shop at the Old Town square. You will visit synagogues in city center (only one is active, other ones are museums): Old-New , Pinkas, Maisel, Klausen, Spanish, then Old cemetery, and Ceremonial hall for Burial society. Tour ends in city center. Tour does not operate on Saturdays and Jewish holidays.
