Dear globe-trotters, my name is Nora. Welcome to my magic city Prague and follow me on the traces of history, art and traditions of Czech people. I've been a tour guide for more than 20 years. I'm a licensed tour guide for Prague, Jewish Quarter and Czech Republic. I speak English, Czech, German and French. My second passion is to translate books from German. I moved to Prague shortly before the Velvet Revolution in 1989. This era was a very intimate experience for me. I was discovering the city with a guidebook in hand, as you are… Soon every corner was familiar to me. I've read lots of books and became passionate about arts of Prague, architecture, history and photography. Soon I knew Prague better than Praguers. In the beginning I studied film arts and later horticulture, yet my love for working with people from all over the world, and exploring Prague prevailed and the two came together into my profession. „Mother Prague has the claws", said Franz Kafka. I try to pass on some of my passion to the visitors. I can show you places, which you might not find by yourselves. . . I can help you with the choice of concerts, exhibitions and advise, what goes on in Prague. Of course there's also traditional Czech food and the best beer in the world. We can visit local restaurants, where the Czechs eat and drink for reasonable prices. We can talk about differences between the life under the Communist regime and nowadays. Prague has a lively historical centre full of intriguing architecture, very compact and easy to walk around. In general, Prague is a very safe and clean city. It's easy to use public transportation but if needed, I can arrange car transport. I like to tailor all my tours to the wishes of my customers, to take care of them and create personal and friendly atmosphere. It makes me happy to enable travelers to come into touch with the city as much as possible and I want to show Prague in all its beauty. Czech countryside is pleasant and peaceful with many picturesque sights. Apart from the trips facilitated by me, I can arrange trips tailored especially for you. So, don't hesitate, wear good shoes, charge your camera and let's meet in Prague… Over 20 years of experience. Official licensed guide of Prague. Licensed guide of the Jewish Quarter and the Czech Republic. State languague exams. The university degree. I love to meet people from foreign countries. I translate books from German. I love travelling, books, nature and my beautiful city Prague. I´m not a driver guide but I can arrange transportation upon request.
