Guiding is not just about what I say - it is about the company and simply enjoying the time in the Golden City of Prague with a local person. I am a professional private guide in Prague since 2007. Nevertheless, I was employed in different firms; the most valueable thing for me to learn and discover was to realize that sitting in an office is simply not for me. So I became a tour guide (like my mother) and I love it! I love showing my city to people who have never been to Prague but there is always something new to discover for those who return. I do all kinds of tours - focusing on history, architecture, Czech culture, etc. but hopefully all of them are fun. Prague castle is the main site in the city - you cannot leave without visiting it. It is a quiet large complex with its 1000 year history; once a seat of kings, today a seat of a president. In order to fully appreciate and understand its meaning and history you need to be guided by a local person. After meeting at your hotel we come to Prague castle, buy tickets, and visit four interiors: St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Basilica, Old Royal Palace, Golden Lane. Tour ends at the castle.
Lenka was a fabulous tour guide! She provided a great introduction to the history and culture of Prague on our first day of our trip. She provided a wonderful tour and background of Prague Castle and offered great recommendations for other sites to visit and restaurants to try. We had a great time with Lenka and would highly recommend her for any tour and would definitely book her again!
