Hello everybody. My name is Sonya, a native Praguer. I would like to share with you my passion about my city and the country. We will be exploring the hidden corners, speak about our culture, our customs and traditions. I was born and rise in Prague but I also used to live in Berlin and London for couple of years. I love traveling, going to different countries, especially in Asia - Cambodia, Laos, India, Thailand. My next destination will be Japan. To be a tour guide I fulfilled my child dream. As the child I was always behind the guides, carefully listening to their explanations. I decided to become an archaeologist. However, during the communistic time it was very hard to study archeology, because the department was open just every second year and only 3 people from the whole Czechoslovakia were accepted to the studies, so instead I studied and finished the Economics. After several year working, the dream reached me again and I met my dream job - guiding. I love history, its details, hidden stories to see that everything what happened in the previous years has such a huge impact today. That what attracts me on history. In Prague you will find me in a coffee house reading historical books or walking with a book and looking for small details. I can stay in the front of an building for hours admiring the beauty of gothic, renaissance, baroque era and any detail I can find on the building. I like making people happy, always you will be the first. I am very empathetic, caring, smiling, responsible. I am also very flexible, what everything you need to do, I can organize it. My work is my hobby. I look forward to meeting you. Reinhard Heydrich is known as the architect of the finale solution. He was the 3rd most important Nazi. Hitler sent him to Bohemia to increase a weapon production and that was the beginning of his end. You will revealed step by step his last days in Prague and the outcome which came afterwards. More than 10 years I am interested in WWII searching for more evidences to discover the hidden reasons of WWII. There are still so many secrets to be revealed. I would like to share with you all facts I have found showing old authentic photos and documents to make the WWII history alive.
You will visit by car - the actual spot of Heydrich assassination - his villa in Panenske Brezany near Prague - village Lidice, which was chosen to be destroyed as the punishment for Heydrich's death, today a memorial of the innocent people - church of St. Cyril and Methodius - the hiding place of 7 brave paratroopers (upon request it is possible to add to see Terezin, Kobylisy - shooting range, where many people died during the martial law)
