Come and join me in discovering the lively off the beaten path district that most of the visitors miss - Karlín. This is where I go to hang out, stroll around parks, eat my lunches and drinks my coffees. I personally love this area because it gets you closer to the real life in Prague showing the todays gastronomy and architectural trends. What used to be once a sleepy and shabby neighborhood turned after the flood in 2002 into a very fashionable district offering mixture between the industrial architecture, modern office projects, and buildings in historical styles from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Today Karlín is a popular place also thanks to its great number of modern bistros, restaurants, beer halls, stylish cafes, and wine bars.
