The best way to see Prague! During the first part of this tour of Prague we will use the tram to get us to the top of the Castle Hill. From up there we visit the Prague Castle (walking through all 3 of its courtyards, visit convenient view point and much more), and then walk down the hill through the gorgeous streets of Hradcany, Little Quarter, Old Town, New Town(since 1348!), Old Town Square area, Jewish Section, Wenceslaw Square, the Powder Tower, and much, much more! During this tour we also cross the Vltava River across the famous Charles Bridge (a working bridge since 1357!) Truly the best way to see Prague, because it is a totally "walkable" city! The tour is concluded either in the Old Town Square area or at your hotel (if desired). This tour is excellent value; simply put, it's the most comprehensive tour of Prague you'll find, with a friendly, knowledgeable guide.
This was a nice overview tour. The guide was very pleasant and helpful. He took us to all of the key highlights. I felt the historical perspective provided was good but was confusing given some gaps — perhaps start with a chronology. Also at the end it felt like we were filling time until to astronomical clock rang. Overall a good tour.
Pavel is a fantastic guide. He is extremely knowledgeable of history, architecture, the church, the culture, etc.. He was very accommodating modifying our schedule and places to visit to meet our preferences and needs. His English is excellent and has an incredibly broadbase of knowledge. I highly recommend a tour with Pavel.
