Dear traveler and my potential customer! My name is Pavel, I am a licensed professional guide for last 20 years. I am one of a few local guides born and raised in this beautifull town - Prague. I am very familiar with almost every street, every hidden corner and overal history of our town and the entire Czech Republic. I am 47 years old and remember the previous communist dictatorship régime that so negatively influenced the late history of our country. I provide all kinds of tours, not only in Prague but through the entire Czech Republic and the Central European Region such as Vienna, Dresden, Berlin, Salzburg, Budapest, and much more. For this purpose I use a late model, 6 passenger, air-conditioned minivan Mercedes V class. I am fully insured and licensed guide. Besides, a great portion my tours are based on walking for Prague is an extremely pedestrian- friendly city. I will do my best to provide the most professional job that will turn your stay here in Prague into a real exciting experience! The incarnation of spa elegance, imposing colonnades, exclusive spa buildings and a wonderful layout in the heart of a forested valley. That is Karlovy Vary. The best known town in the world renowned West Bohemian Spa Triangle, in which some of the most famous figures in European artistic and cultural life have enjoyed treatment, is today the second most visited spot in the Czech Republic. Thanks to its unique architecture, it is one of Europe's most beautiful spas. Legend has it that Karlovy Vary was founded by the Czech king and holy Roman emperor Charles IV in the 14th century. It is said that the ruler discovered a unique spring here while out hunting deer. Over the centuries a spa town has developed here whose fame has surpassed the borders of Bohemia, with Karlovy Vary becoming synonymous with charm and social standing. It has welcomed such figures as Goethe, Beethoven, Gogol, Paganini, Casanova, and Mozart, along with dozens of heads of state, while in recent times it has hosted many movie stars.
You will be picked up at your hotel at about nine in the morning. We head straight towards Karlovy Vary. We reach the town shortly after 11 AM and do a guided tour through its charming spa quarter. You can taste curative springs during our walking along colonades. Then we'll have a lunch. Finally, we will visit a showroom of one of the best known glass works in Europe, the MOSER Company with its more than 150 years of tradition! We will visit their showroom and factory outlet store, if you are interested. Then you'll have some time off to stroll the streets of the downtown area on your own. Around 3:00 PM we should be leaving back for Prague. You'll be back at your hotel around 5 PM.
