Pozdravy z Prahy! (Greetings from Prague!) My name is Ljuba (or Luba or Lyuba - there are several ways to spell it). Translated, my name means "love", and I would like to wish you a very warm welcome to the Golden City! I started working as a tour guide in Prague in 1994, when I was still a student. Communism had just barely ended and foreign - especially western - tourists were becoming a more common sight. Much has changed since then, but I still enjoy sharing my love of Prague with visitors from all over the world. I specialize in Jewish tours due to my family heritage, but I've been doing this job for long enough now that I'm happy to show you any aspect of Prague you're most interested in. My two decades of experience have given me deep insight into the many hidden gems this city has to offer - gems less-experience guides might not be familiar with. After working for so many years with tourists, I know that your time in a foreign city is valuable and limited. My job is to ensure that you get the most out of your visit - not just rushing through the sites. I pride myself not only on being a professional but also on providing great personal attention to all of my customers. Those who come on my tours leave Prague with a feeling that they are not only my clients but my friends as well. I have guided people from all walks of life, from politicians and movie stars to the backpacking student traveling on a budget. I offer both standard introductory tours for people who've never been here before and specialist packages for those interested in some specific aspect of Prague's history or culture. I can also make tailor-made tours on any part of Prague you would like to see. Tours are what I specialize in, but thanks to the vast network of connections that I've built up over the years, I can also plan and book your entire trip, from airport transfers to hotel reservations and event tickets - I do it all! If you buy something in a store that turns out to be defective, you can easily get a refund. But if you buy a bad tour, it's so much more than money that is thrown away - your travel time is wasted and you leave with a bad feeling. This is why I do my very best to give you the highest quality tour possible so that your memories of Prague will be only positive. Thank you for visiting my profile and I look forward to showing you around this beautiful city and country! S přátelským pozdravem (Kind regards), Ljuba P. S. If you would like to see more of my beautiful city, please look at the photographs on my profile for just a small taste of what is to come when you visit Prague. I am fully licensed as a professional tour guide in: -the City of Prague -the City of Vienna -the Jewish Museum in Prague -the Prague Castle Trading certificate in providing guiding services. Insured and bonded for transport. VIP Guide Over 25 years of touring experience. Member of Association of Tour Guides of the Czech Republic and WFTGA (World Federation of Tour Guide Associations). I have several high-end Minivans at my disposal for your comfort with water, umbrellas, and tissues. These vehicles have permission to go to certain areas that regular cars cannot, giving my customers a more relaxed experience. PLEASE NOTE: No audio or video recording is allowed on my tours without prior permission

Overview of your Prague tour

The first part of this tour is a visit to Terezin Concentration camp and will provide you with an insight into what happened to so many innocent people in Terezin, through viewing actual artifacts, children's drawings, poetry and other rare items. The second part of the tour will consist of visiting Pragues fascinating Jewish Quarter, along with four famous synagogues and the Old Jewish cemetery. We will visit several famous synagogues: The 13th-century Old-New Synagogue(The Oldest synagogue in Europe) The Pinkas Synagogue, now a hallowed museum dedicated to the Czech victims of the Holocaust The Klausen Synagogue, which contains an exhibition of Jewish traditions and artifacts The Spanish Synagogue, a beautiful synagogue that regularly holds classical music concerts. We can’t thank Ljuba enough for the outstanding day she provided us both on professional and personal levels. Her knowledge and ability to not only explain Prague Jewish history to us but show us such detail in one day was truly incredible. But most of all her kindness and deep commitment to making people feel comfortable makes her one of the best guides we have ever met. It was truly beshert for us to connect with Ljuba and we highly recommend her for your tours in Prague.

If you are Jewish, or if you are interested in the holocaust andits impact on the Jewish people, this tour cannot be missed! Luba was an incredible guide, filled with many interesting stories about the events involved in this story. We spent the first part of the tour traveling to Terezin concentration camp. The second part of the tour we spent in the old Jewish quarter in Prague. No stone was left unturned. From the successful plot to kill Reinhard Heydrich as by the exiled Czech government and the resistance, to an in-depth history of Terezin, to a n amazing walking tour of the Jewish quarter. Luba was once again an amazing guide with a depth of knowledge on the subject. She was blessed to pass us all a wealth of information about this difficult subject. Thank you Luba!

This is a must see tour while in Prague. Easy day trip. Extremely interesting. Lyuba has done a great deal of research on this topic with lots of interesting side stories of the victims of Terezín. The tour of Jewish synagogues and cemetery was excellent. Highly Recommended!!!!

Ljuba has an incredible wealth of historical and current knowledge. She has done research far and above what you could possibly expect from a great tour guide - that is why she is more than just a great tour guide - she has expertise that was ascertained from her personal commitment to the subject matter. She is a wonderful host and a professional in every way.

Luyba as a tour guide was exceptional. Her depth and breadth of knowledge provided us with a deep understanding of both Terese and the Jewish quarter of Prague. She created a well organized plan to maximize the experience and time together. She was well prepared with visual materials that enhanced the tour. She was clearly competent and confident and took pride in her own study and research to prepare for the tour, as well as her ability to communicate. She had good sense of humor and a warm and friendly demeanor. Be prepared for a full day of touring.

Your Prague tour itinerary

- Hotel pick-up in the morning, preferably at 8 a. m. to beat the crowds at the ticket office - On the way to Terezín (50 minutes) I will talk about the history of the Czech Republic and what it was like during the occupation in World War II and the tragic fate of the Jews in former Czechoslovakia and Eastern Europe - Firstly we will see the Large Fortress and visit the Terezín Museum - Afterwards, there is the Magdeburg Barracks, the hidden synagogue, the Jewish cemetery, the Menorah monument, and the crematorium waiting for us - Last but not least we will go into to the Small Fortress to spend time exploring the Gestapo prison, the single and mass cells, and a secret tunnel that most visitors do not get to see - this will take place with a local guide who has access - Then we will head back to Prague to see the Jewish Quarter, including several famous synagogues, and the Jewish cemetery - If hungry we can stop for lunch in Prague before touring the Jewish Quarter
