Ahoj! Hello, my name is Viktor and I was born in Czechoslovakia on a day, when the last Soviet tank left my country. Simply there was no place for both of us: either me or the tanks! Probably that is why my huge passions are cars, WWII history and communism time. Since I was a little boy I always wanted to work with cars. Sadly, my father was coming from a family of political prisoner. Yes, my grandpa also wanted to escape from the regime in 1950, but was caught and sent to prison by the communist party. This is how my family got on a black list and never had a chance to buy the car they dreamed about. Cars were always my big passion, especially taking in consideration huge car production in the Czech Republic even nowadays. I did not have any trouble choosing the university. This is how I became an automotive engineer. Even though it was quite difficult to study, I managed to finish the highest degree and found a very good and decent job in company designing engines for McLaren or transmissions for Bugatti. Meanwhile every day I was reading books, and a lot of them. Maybe nowadays reading books is no longer fashionable, but I am definitely the old-fashioned type of guide, who can read hours, digging deep and looking for detailed information. Did you know that Czechoslovak airplanes played a crucial role in Israel's first war for independence? Did you know that Czechoslovakia was the fourth largest arms manufacturer in the world? Did you know that Czechoslovakia was the first country inside the eastern block to be place for KGB mission? Well and that is just a start! I have traveled a lot and lived in China, UK and Canada. Now I am based in Prague only with my family and do not plan to move. When I met my wife she inspired me a lot and I started to guide in Prague. Turned out I knew a lot and even was teaching her some details she never knew before. I have been driving and sharing my car passion to our guests. My tours are quite different from the others. I show you an alternative, industrial Prague, my tours are car based. I can take you to different cities and towns in the Czech Republic and even Dresden. I would be your perfect tour guide if you share WWII, car or communism time interests. As a person I am a very funny guide with exclusive sense of humor. I promise I make you smile:) I am a very kind, honest and a little bit old-fashioned. Also responsible and very attentive driver. I am the person of rules (including following them or breaking). My power is to share the stories of people from my country without boring history, but with life examples. I have been working in English company in English language for over 10 years, so my language is fluent and easy to understand. I am waiting for you in Prague to show you something original and share my experience, passion and my family stories. Viktor - Master's degree in automotive engineering from University of Technology in Brno - Driver's license - up to 8 people. I have been driving for 15 years. - 2nd place in swimming from 8th grade ;) I am a driver for up to 8 people in the car, I am not permitted to drive bigger vans.

If you have one extra day in Prague and think about where to go, I invite you to have this amazing day trip to Dresden. The history of Prague and Dresden are so much connected. Both cities were bombed in February 1945, just Prague got lucky and was destroyed only partly, but Dresden did not and was completely bombed and burnt. It is just amazing how Dresden was renovated and how much work it was done there within last thirty years. The historical center is small, but remarkable. The footprints of the war are literary everywhere, I will show you even the old notes left by the Red Army. As back then during WWII and so today Dresden is a very important transportation city. For car lovers on our tour we could visit either Transportation Museum or Transparent Factory. And of course if you wish I could show you Bastei Bridge, which is a remarkable masterpiece in the middle of the rocks. The tour can be customized according to your wishes, just let me know what you are interested in.
