This tour was a highlight of our visit to Prague. Arkadiy provided a fun and informative introduction to Czech beer and related culture and history. He guided us to two pubs, featuring different beers and atmospheres. Along with the beer, Arkadiy suggested complementary food dishes and good conversation. This experience caused us to learn more, and he recommended (and provided directions) for the Pilsner Urquell tour (which we took, the next day). This was an easy going, enjoyable diversion. Well worth the time and cost.

We just enjoyed a wonderful local beer and food private tour with Arkadiy. Arkadiy was communicative, friendly, and knowledgable. Arkadiy started our tour in Old Town and walked us through the center near Old Town Hall to a local brewery. Arkadiy explained the history of Czech beer, how the beer is made, and how to order like a local. We then walked to another nearby brewery where we continued to learn Czech history, customs, and etiquette. Arkadiy made the tour feel like grabbing a beer with an old friend - his warm demeanor, and friendliness are truly incomparable. We greatly enjoyed our tour with Arkadiy and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique experience while visiting Prague!

Your Prague tour itinerary

We will start our tour under the Astronomical Clock "Orloj", I will be in the middle, just next to the small door under clock (see pictures). This tour divided on two parts: - The first one is a local pub where you can try various type of beer and some national snack (here we will talk about beer brewing, its history and development) - The second one is a local microbrewery which was established here since the 15th century, where you can try very strong and famous beer in Czech Republic. All the time your local guide will be at your disposal so you can discuss not just a beer with me - We will finish the tour in the city center. You can stay in the last pub if you like or I can also recommend a nice restaurant near by.
