Guiding is not just about what I say - it is about the company and simply enjoying the time in the Golden City of Prague with a local person. I am a professional private guide in Prague since 2007. Nevertheless, I was employed in different firms; the most valueable thing for me to learn and discover was to realize that sitting in an office is simply not for me. So I became a tour guide (like my mother) and I love it! I love showing my city to people who have never been to Prague but there is always something new to discover for those who return. I do all kinds of tours - focusing on history, architecture, Czech culture, etc. but hopefully all of them are fun. Prague architecture = world rarity. Nowhere in the world you can find (so many) examples of all historical architectural styles in the city center. Use this opportunity to learn all about the styles, find great examples, and admire cubist and art nouveau buildings. Only with your Prague born guide with a degree in history and art you can truly learn.
Lenka is the perfect guide for history, geography and culture insights. She has a gift for doing an overview before talking about the details. She is an expert in Jewish history so we appreciated the added knowledge while visiting the Jewish quarter. She is truly a best in class guide.
We had such a great tour today. Lenora knew so much, and answered every question. We told her things we wanted to see and learn an, and she gave us background and history. She was very knowledgeable about the city and we really enjoyed our trip around Prague.
Lenka was excellent! She asked us what our interests were and structured our tour around them. She showed us several places that were not common for tourists to see given our interest in architecture. She had an indepth knowledge of the history of Prague and the places we went to. Her English was excellent. I will use her again when I visit Prague.

I do not hand out 5 stars like candy for reviews of hotels-meals-tour guides. Everything must be exemplary to receive 5 stars. We have had 10 guides in Budapest, Vienna, and Prague areas. 3 rated 4 to 4 3/4 stars, 4 rated 3 to 3 3/4 stars, 1 was about 2 stars and 1 was completely useless. Lenka is a Czech national treasure with an encyclopedic trove of ancient and modern dates, places, and stories that she makes relevant beautifully with great personal warmth and charm. She is worth 6 stars.
