Hello and welcome (Bok i dobro došli) to beautiful Dalmatia, the stunning region of Croatia! My name is Irena, and I am delighted to be your guide. I was born and raised in the charming town of Šibenik (SHēˈbenik), nestled between Split and Zadar, where I've spent most of my life. As a private guide since 2007, I bring years of experience and a passion for sharing the wonders of our region. In addition to my native Croatian, I am fluent in English and German. My diverse experiences, including working in Switzerland for five years and on an American cruise ship (RCCL) for nine years, have enabled me to connect with people from various cultures, traditions, and religions. These experiences have taught me how to adapt my approach to ensure an enriching experience for everyone I meet. I truly enjoy engaging with people, continuously learning, and making new friends along the way. I am thrilled that you have chosen to explore this side of the Adriatic Sea, with its rich natural beauty and cultural heritage. Croatia is indeed a beautiful country, and it would be my pleasure to introduce you to its history, culture, traditions, customs, and many other wonders. For visitors arriving on cruise ships, I offer my services in the ports of Šibenik, Vodice, and Primošten. My main working area is the town of Šibenik and Krka National Park. My goals are to provide you with the most memorable experience possible, help you discover breathtaking moments that will be cherished for a lifetime, and ensure that you feel like you've truly experienced something special. I invite you to choose one of my tours listed below. If my offer doesn't suit your needs or interests, please let me know so that I can create a customized tour just for you. I look forward to meeting you and spending an unforgettable time together. Hopefully, I will become your new friend and not just another guide. Sibenik is an undiscovered gem of Adriatic. A medieval town founded on the mouth of river Krka. By walking through the narrow medieval streets of Sibenik old town, you will feel the soul of this town, like no other town on Mediterranean has. You feel like you are gone back in 14th, 15th and 16th century. The most famous building in Sibenik is UNESCO medieval Cathedral of st. Jacob, amazing stone work of two most important medieval masters and sculptors from 15th century in Dalmatia (Juraj Dalmatinac and Nikola Firentinac). Here, on one of most beautiful square in Dalmatia, close your eyes, go back to the past and listen to the whispers of stonemasons, who spent their entire lives struggling to finish this amazing work of art. Afterwards, take way to the Krka National Park, 15-20 min by car. Here you will be surprised with another beauty, with beauty of nature. Visiting last waterfall on a river, we will walk together in the woods, along the river with a dozens cascading waterfall. That's "water GAUDI"
