Hello and welcome to my beautiful country of Croatia! My name is Mirko and I come from the southern part of our coastline, amazing Dalmatia region, famous for its natural beauties and cultural heritage. Sibenik is my hometown, hidden gem between bigger cites Zadar and Split, which both are just one hours driving distance. Very close are also two national parks, hundreds of islands, clean rivers, the highest mountain in Croatia and five Unesco world heritage sites. Together they create ideal scenery for a perfect vacation. I have been a tour guide since 2010 and completely devoted to this call. I speak fluent English and Spanish language and in the last nine years I have shown my country to thousands of guests from all over the world. I have been working for the big and small tour operators from Croatia, UK, US, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Japan, Taiwan. . . I have worked a lot as a private guide in Croatia, and of course I consider all of my guests as VIP guests. To this job led me a stroke of luck. After finishing my studies and work in Zagreb, I spent one year in Spain working in a hotel in San Sebastian. There I realized that tourism is my call of destiny since I like traveling, meeting other cultures, languages, gastronomy, history. . . and the most important working with people! From that moment on I am very happy person because my passion is my job :) After, I also worked in an incoming travel agency for several years and for five years also as private driver guide in Croatia. Therefore I have been guiding and organizing tours, creating customized itineraries for individuals and small groups all around Croatia and abroad. For this I also recently purchased new van Opel Vivaro 8+1 seats, you can see the photos in my profile. But of course if preferred I can organize another car or van. So whether you need a city walk in Sibenik, half day excursion or even a multi-day tour in Croatia, I would be glad to be your guide. I will give you an insight to our local way of life and bring you closer our culture, history, tradition, beautiful coastline, natural parks, cities. . . Looking forward to meet you and be part of your unforgettable memory in Croatia :) * Licensed tourist guide from 2010 * Master's degree in Economics, University in Zagreb * Driver's license (car, van) * Additional professional driver license * If the meeting point will be the cruise terminal, I will be waiting for you by the cruise ship and we will walk together to vehicle, just outside the cruise ramp, some 50-100 meters

On the start we will visit Skradinski buk waterfalls which is the most visited part of the park. You will enjoy different viewpoints and a nice walk on the wooden footpaths between the waterfalls, lakes and trees, surrounded by fish and accompanied by the sound of lively frogs. After the waterfalls, if you want and if available, you will enjoy a nice boat drive to a small picturesque place, Skradin. From there drive to Roski slap, a short 30 minutes nice walk by the river, then free time for light lunch by the old watermills. Well, when I say "light lunch" in this case it means a plenty of local products: 4 different types of cheeses, smoked ham, other meat products, local vegetables, homemade bread, as much as you want red and white house wine with some welcome local brandies :) Please check the photos in the gallery. Of course the lunch can be in some restaurant in the area. On our way back to the Sibenik area, we will stop to see a panorama of one of the most iconic places in Croatia, Visovac monastery.
