I have traveled the world for ten years and have never seen a city as beautiful as Vancouver. From the world's greatest park to the most livable neighbourhoods in the most beautiful city in North America; this city is a walker's dream. Mild climate, spectacular vistas, great shopping, historical buildings… it's got everything a visitor wants! I have designed and conducted tours for people from many different walks of life: from senior citizens to parliamentarians; from architects to historians; from airport layovers to cruise ship day trippers… I have helped them all. I want to show you the best of Vancouver with your interests and needs in mind. My goal is to make this the best tour you have ever had. First Aid /CPR Certified Member of Heritage Vancouver I conduct walking tours that may also use buses, trains, and water taxis. If you can't walk at a leisurely pace for 30 minutes at a time then I would not recommend these tours. The water taxis are not easily boarded by strollers and wheelchairs.

The best of downtown Vancouver, for your family and friends. Stanley Park, the waterfront, historic buildings, great neighbourhoods, Granville Island…. Transportation may include buses, trains and water taxis. All included in the price of your tour. This tour is perfect for the person who wants to see the best of Vancouver while walking. There are no hills, and after May 15th the tour starts before 9:30 am to avoid of the heat of the day, making it a very comfortable tour. If an early start doesn't work for your group let me know. . . I will adjust the tour to meet your needs.
The tour will start at 9 am from in front of the Cruise Ship terminal at Canada Place, or if your group would prefer to meet at your downtown hotel let me know. We will head west to take in the downtown exploring the history and the cultural diversity of Vancouver. We then will head north to the water and experience mountain views and cityscapes, Stanley Park and the sights and sounds of float planes taking off. We will then explore a little bit more of downtown before catching a bus west to the entrance of Stanley Park. We will see the forest, city and ocean views before we enter the West End; one of the most livable neighbourhoods in Canada. We then travel to the False Creek Ferries dock and travel to Granville Island. After an hour exploring the island you can end the tour on Granville Island or we can hop on board another False Creek Ferry. From there we hop on board the train and back into downtown finishing our trip in front of the Olympic Flame .

All my tours are in essence walking tours but are enhanced with trains, buses and water taxis. This encourages the attention to detail that walking tours excel at but without the limitation of distance.
