Vancouver City Explorer Private Tour

This tour was amazing. Bobby, the tour guide’s requested English name, was top notch from beginning to end. I was a full day traveling criss crossing the city with him pointing historical locations from the Indigenous people, first explorers/settlers from the beginnings of this beautiful city to the present. There were 5 of us on this tour so any of us could ask him questions at any time. He drove a large comfortable van and knew where and when to stop for washroom and leg stretches at the most beautiful places. We were there in the early fall and only had a few light sprinkles. The weather was still warm most of the time and the summer flowers were amazing. Bobby told us that in a few weeks they would be taken out and replaced with more seasonal vegetation. The rains would be coming soon. We stopped at a great place for lunch in mall area with theaters, artists small shops and food places that had been transformed from an old industrial area. Our tour was easily 6-7 hours filled interesting, informative and educational information. He even gave us some recommendations for dinner that night on the Waterfront

Excellent tour guide! We enjoyed his comfortable new van. Spotlessly clean. Easy driver-soft turns and ez acceleration and braking. We were able to see the entire city, weigh plenty of time at the stops to walk and explore. Bobby wore a microphone so it was easy to hear his descriptions and explanations. Highly recommend his tour.

We had a full day in Vancouver before flying back to the East Coast. Had never booked a Tours by Locals excursion before and I am so glad we did. Bobby was the perfect tour guide...polite, patient, and oh so knowledgeable...we learned so much about Vancouver from him. He gave us highlights of the city and stopped at some amazing sights for us to do more in depth exploring and enjoy lunch at Granville Island. It was just perfect!
