Luxury Private Vancouver Driving Tour

Vancouver is a lovely city. Sandy did a great job showing it off and sharing the history of the city. She is very personable and knowledgeable. She was waiting for us when we got off the cruise ship and ensured we got to the airport on time. Her car is clean and comfortable. It held our 5 suitcases and our group of 4 adults and the double sunroof was great for seeing the architecture as we drove through the city. Stanley Park is beautiful and we especially enjoyed Granville Island where she showed us lots of local artisans' works and we enjoyed lunch at the market. The views from the beaches are great and she provided us with maps so we could orient ourselves to the city. We hadn't done any research so didn't give her any requests so she did a nice job of checking in with us on what we wanted to see as we went along, covering all aspects of the city and balancing driving with some walking.

Our day with Sandy was the result of our cruise arrival in the morning and a red-eye in the evening. Our introduction to Vancouver was nicely done -- we now have a good understanding about the neighborhoods and what makes the city such a desirable place to live. Sandy is an extremely experienced guide who knows all the in's and out's which makes a tour seamless and enjoyable. We appreciate her expertise and time with our family! Thank you for a great day!

Sandy was a delightful guide!! We were a small group of 3 semi retired professional women and life time friends who left our husbands at home for an annual friends trip. We appreciated Sandy showing us neighborhoods that reflected the variety in architecture and history. The sites that were related to our indigenous people was meaningful. She stopped often to let us take in the beauty of the moment. Sandy was thoughtful in ensuring we experienced the best of Vancouver in a day and had selected a fabulous restaurant on Granville Island for lunch. Her warmth and enthusiasm for Vancouver, travel and life was contagious and engaging! We all three would recommend Sandy as a guide for a group or family wanting to see and learn a lot about the city in a day with a professional and knowledgeable guide. Thank you Sandy!!

Sandy was terrific! She was extremely knowledable about the City and able to tell about each section and its development with interest. She took us everywhere from all parts of Stanley Park to the West side beaches and exclusive communities - from the controversial high rise development on First Nations land to the spinning chandelier under the Granville St Bridge. We saw the remnants and redevelopment from the Expo 86 (World's Fair) and 2010 Winter Olympics. We saw the original downtown section, Chinatown and Gastown with its steam clock. And of course we had to go to Granville Island with its artistry and food market! Sandy kept us enthralled the entire time. She was not only full of information but full of suggestions on what we could do with the rest of our time in the City. It was a great adventure that made our trip wonderful.
