Private Luxury Vancouver/Whistler Day Tour

We had a wonderful day touring Vancouver with Sandy. She is exceptionally knowledgeable about the city and its history, as well as prompt, courteous, flexible, and very accommodating. Her Mercedes SUV was extremely comfortable, and the day was relaxed, enjoyable, and tailored to our interests. What particularly impressed us was Sandy’s thoughtfulness and willingness to go above and beyond for us when circumstances unexpectedly changed. She handled everything with genuine kindness and professionalism, which we greatly appreciated. Sandy is not only an excellent guide, but also a genuinely pleasant person to spend the day with. We would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a first-rate private tour of Vancouver.

This was day #2 of our Tours by Locals trips in the greater Vancouver area. We were fortunate to book Sandy G. As our guide. She did a fantastic job on the previous day, taking us through the many sites and attractions in and around the city of Vancouver. Our trip to Whistler was outstanding, with just the right amount of tour stops and background information of the area. Sandy made a long drive fun and informative. She is very professional and has a great sense of humor. We stopped at an incredible water fall on the way up to Whistler, and she told us that we might get lucky and see a bear as we got closer to Whistler. Sure enough, she saw one off to the side of the road, and we were able to slow down so that all 5 of us in the SUV could see it and take a quick photo. We loved walking around the Olympic Village at Whistler, and she recommended lunch at nearby Fairmont Hotel. Great setting and great food and service at reasonable prices. We are big fans of Sandy G. And highly recommend her as a guide.

Wonderful day out to Whistler. Where we enjoyed cable car/gondola and chairlift rides. We wouldn’t have seen and done as much as we did if it wasn’t for Sandy’s flexibility and excellent knowledge and experience. From the moment Sandy picked us us outside our Airbnb in the morning to dropping us off at a restaurant we’d chosen for the evening, was stress-free. We felt very well cared for as well as entertained and informed. Comfortable and immaculate SUV very safely driven. Highly recommended.

Sandy was excellent. Picked us up on time. Was very knowledgeable about the Whistler history and current eval. She also was thorough with good info. Her driving was controlled and safe. It was like being with a good friend who knows the tour. Recommend highly.

Sandy was very professional. She was very informative and knowledgeable about the area. We went to Whistler on a day tour and everything was perfect except the weather. Great day not doing the normal tourist trap stops.
