Summer Walking Tour: Downtown, Stanley Park and Granville Island in 5 1/2 hours

This tour is perfect for groups of 2 to 4 people. The tour starts in front of the Pan Pacific Hotel and cruise ship terminal, or your downtown hotel; then to the Olympic Flame and ocean and mountain views. A little more of the downtown is followed by a 10 minute bus ride to the entrance of Stanley Park. We will then enter beautiful Stanley Park and for over an hour we will explore the forests and gardens, and totem poles, This park is continuously ranked one of the Greatest Parks in the World. We then will hop on a bus and 10 minutes later we will be back downtown. We will then explore many of the beautiful streets and buildings of downtown Vancouver. We then hop on a train to historic Yaletown and the waterfront of False Creek. We board a water taxi and travel to Granvillle Island to walk, browse and rest with some of the best cityscapes in Vancouver as a background. IDEAL for Electronic Scooters and anyone who prefers sea level walking. . . 18, 000 steps.

The tour starts in front of the Pan Pacific Hotel and cruise ship terminals at the information kiosk or your downtown hotel. The mountains and ocean makes for a very beautiful and dramatic background to meet and discuss the tour. We then will walk west past the convention centre and Olympic flame. We will explore more ofvthe downtown followed by a short bus ride. We will then enter Stanley Park and spend an hour in its gardens, and forests. We will visit the Totem Pole display as well as various outdoor art displays. We then will catch a bus in the park that in less than ten minutes will take us back into downtown. We will then explore many of the beautiful streets and buildings of downtown Vancouver. Then it is train, walk water taxi to Granville Island. After an hour you have the option of staying on Granville Island or it is back to downtown Vancouver and your hotel. A 9 to 10 am start is recommended.
