I've lived in Vancouver for all of my adult life and was raised in British Columbia's capital city of Victoria. On this tour, we will spend three hours exploring the gems of Vancouver. Starting at your Hotel or Canada Place, we will make our way through Coal Harbour's modern high rises on the water's edge of the Vancouver Harbour on the way to Stanley Park. We will stop to visit the Totem Poles and I'll share some First Nation's history and tell you why many Canadians are now calling these "Story Poles". We will make our way around Stanley Park, and through the West End to English Bay where we will see the A-Maze-ing Laughter statues. We will then make our way to Yaletown to see the transformation of an original industrial rail neighborhood into a very scenic and modern community. We will then make our way to our final stop - Granville Island for a stop at the renowned Granville Island Public Market before returning to your hotel.
Tracy was fantastic…everything we asked for and more. So knowledgeable and such a fun person to see the city with. You can tell her love for the city from her enthusiasm. If you’re seeing Vancouver, see it with her and no one else.
We had a charter bus for the day and weren't quite sure about a guide, but after connecting with Tracy, we knew we'd made the right choice. Tracy is full of energy & knows her stuff - cannot recommend her highly enough! She is a natural.
How we ended up with Tracy, I do not know, but WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER. Tracy was enthusiastic, well-informed, funny, thorough, and sensitive to the needs of our group. Our three hours together flew by. Our only regret was didn't sign on for the whole day so we could take advantage of her specialty, walking tours. So glad we started our trip with Tracy, as her recommendations for places to eat and things to explore were excellent. Vancouver is a great place when you see it with one of its treasures.
Tracy was absolutely fabulous as a step on guide and provided our group with a wonderful experience on the Vancouver City Tour. She was flexible in working with the group regarding their availability and even brought each person a small gift, which was such a personal touch and highlight! I will meet you and the coach at your Downtown Hotel or another specified Location. We then will make our way past Coal Harbour to Stanley Park and make a stop to visit the Totem Poles. After passing through the West End, English Bay and Yaletown we'll reach Granville Island, the last stop of the tour before returning to your hotel. Our tour can end at Granville Island, you could opt to spend some time on your own exploring the galleries, the Public Market, and restaurants. I will give you directions to return to your hotel or spend the rest of your day before the tour concludes. Every tour I host is customizable - Please contact me for more options.
