Hello, and welcome! I'm Steve, and my genuine excitement for this city is something I can't wait to share with you. For years, I've been the trusted local expert for my visiting friends and family, crafting memorable days and sharing hidden gems with the warmth and care you'd have showing them to a close friend. I am now thrilled to extend that same personal, welcoming approach to travellers from all over the world. I pride myself on being a thoughtful and conscientious planner. I guarantee to proactively consider every detail of our time together, ensuring our experience is seamless, comfortable and exceeds expectations. My goal is to make our day an absolute delight, and I am genuinely eager to learn about your interests so I can create an outing that is perfectly suited to you specifically. I believe in making your adventure as convenient and stress-free as possible, which is why I’d be happy to pick you up directly from your lodging. Whether you prefer a journey on foot or in the comfort of a private vehicle, I can accommodate your preference. I specialize in private, personalized outings, and I am dedicated to providing an experience that feels less like a formal tour and more like you're discovering the city with a knowledgeable and passionate local friend.

Let's visit a North Vancouver gem nestled alongside the raging waters of the Capilano River, where one could easily spend a couple hours of enjoyment. There's a unique whimsy to be embraced in the rainforest around Vancouver, and the rainforest where the Capilano Salmon Hatchery is located is incredibly beautiful – especially with the loud sound of water flowing over the Cleveland Dam. It's a wonderful place for nature lovers. The lookout point to view the cascading water from the dam will rejuvenate your body & soul. You'll feel pure fresh air in your lungs and a cleansing spray on your face from the water falling from this dam above. There's also a viewing area where you can see the salmon spawning as they attempt to leap out of the water from one fish ladder to the next. But we may not only see fish; Blue Heron birds can sometimes be seen on the river’s edge waiting for the right moment to snatch! And that's not all we'll visit, since we'll also drive to a mountain resort town with lots to offer.
-We will start with a pickup from your location, after which we'll cross the Lions Gate Bridge over the Georgia Strait and drive to the Capilano Salmon Hatchery. -We'll then take a short stroll down to the Capilano River and walk across a metal grate bridge to observe the fish ladder. -On arrival, we'll walk through the salmon hatchery to see the spawning salmon and learn about their life span. -Later, we'll take a short hike over the waters of the Capilano River on a solid wooden bridge to the west side of the river bank and walk to the viewing point. -After enjoying the viewpoint, we'll drive out of the Rainforest and arrive at the Capilano Lake viewing area, from where we'll walk on the wall of the Cleveland Dam. -We will then wrap up our visit by stopping at nearby Edgemont Village, where its cosy coffee shops and restaurants will beckon you to sit down and enjoy a freshly made piece of pie or a warm cinnamon bun. -At last, we'll return to your pickup location.
